Symantec Firewall/VPN Appliance 200R

I am totally lost on this one. I have a client that wanted a Symantec Firewall/VPN Appliance 200R. So I purchased him one and configured it to allow VPN connects and have connected. But once I have connected I can not see the local network. This is the first time I have used an external VPN device and do not know how to configure it to allow the user to browse the local network. Can anybody out there help me with this….Thanks?
