Symbols in Excel

I know Word has the symbol tables that you can just pick from, and insert it. But how can I do that in Excel? Specifically, a company catalog is in Excel, and some of the inventory items are “trademarked” or “registered”…

Is it possible to get the “c” in a circle or the “R” in a circle, without going through ten tons of headache?…. like making it in WordArt, resizing it, blah blah blah…

Help please…. urgent.
