system memory changed message at startup

I have an HP server running NT40. When it boots up a message will appear “system memory has changed press F1 to continue or F2 to run configuration utility”. At this point if I dont select anything the server doesnt come up. This is frustrating when the power goes out and I get a call in the morning that the network is down. When I press F2 I’m not sure what I need to go in and do??? Any help…I will assume the last admin upgraded the ram.
