“SYSTEM” process using 100% CPU

I have a Dell Precision 650 with 4GB RAMM just start 100% CPU usage. The process using it all is “SYSTEM”. I have done a system restore to an earlier date with no luck but I did notice that in safe mode the usage dropped to normal. I disabled drivers to see if that was it and I had no luck. Any ideas?
