system recovery for an acer aspire 3628 AWXMi

hi i bought my laptop 2006,i had problem on how can i perform my system recovery,i tried to reboot my laptop and i used the cd that they gave to me for e-recovery,it was failed, just wanna ask how can i have a copy of that system recovery so i can reformat my laptop again thanks a lot im looking forward for your immediaterepsonse!
