Table Background Image. (IE Vs Netscape)

Hi.

I wonder if anyone here can help me.

I have designed a website that is moderately heavy in background images set in tables.

The long and short of it is, Internet Explorer displays the images as true. Netscape however, has cut the imageaccording to how the table is set up. eg. The image repeats itself at every new column. It doesn’t look very nice to say the least.

Does anybody know how to get around this, keeping in mind that I want to keep the images in question?
