TCP/IP Readdressing & DHCP Server

by colink . Updated 24 years ago

I am managing a project to readdress the TCP/IP subnets in our company. There are many. I have DHCP Servers each serving multiple scopes, where I have top readdress the server and the scopes.
Readdressing a scope is easy – just define a new one andtransfer.
Each DHCP Server is set up with the server address coded into it. If I want to change the server I will be forced to re-enter all the Scopes manually into the newly defined DHCP database.
Is there a way I can short-circuit the manual process safely? – Redefine the Server TCP/IP address, start DHCP, perform so magic and viola?
