Tech ideas & self-education in a small town

by tracyf . Updated 21 years, 5 months ago

Hi all,

I’m just starting a business doing in-home PC lessons, troubleshooting, upgrading, & new purchase recommendations/setups. So far, it’s rolling & picking up steam but I’d really like to further my own knowledge via some sort of online venue. I’m looking for free help/tutorials that are self-paced.

Please don’t think me too cheap- I’m mainly tight on cash as an at-home mom (I do my work during the kids school hours or at night/weekends when hubby is home).

I’ve done well, self-teaching what I have so far, but would like to have a better base, for future calls, which may involve setting up & securing a business network. I also want to stay on top of new tech & trends.

The closest Jr. college is very far & is treacherous driving in the winter (even IF I could afford the tuition).

Are there ways to achieve this out there? I figured this would be a good place to put out some feelers.

Thanks for any help, links, tips, insight,

Tracy
