Tech Repub’s own website

I use Firefox v.47.0.0 on Win10
Following links from your newsletters, Firefox fails to display most images. I followed all the advice on the Help pages but by accident discovered the issue was caused by Do not Track which hadn’t been mentioned.

However I now notice that the page looks a complete mess. I have a screen grab but can’t see a way to include it here. Popups and ads view for space, overlapping themselves. Adjusting the size of the windows doesn’t help.
This inability to display images by the way was just Firefox, Edge was fine.

If I can, may I also comment on how modern web pages now take so long to finish rendering, even on my superfast connection, due to their pulling images and data in from so many different servers. It takes whole minutes for a page to finish fully rendering and meanwhile it jumps around like a manic dog as new bits are fitted in. This is an internet problem I agree but would welcome comments.
