Tech schools: “to be or not to be”

I have recently made a decision to enter the tech world. I have a B.S. but have decided I don’t have any marketable skills. I have been researching the MCSE,MCSD, Oracle, ect. Although I am considering attending a Tech school, I have been disappointed to find out there is very little info regarding them. Am I qualified to enter directly into an Oracle DBA certification? Certain schools seem to think so without any prior knowledge about UNIX and the like.
Is this true? Can I get a job or internship with this certification alone? Please help. Any info will be appreciated!
