First time poster, glad to be here! I have a user that has a Dell M65 laptop running XP Pro SP2 and Office 2003, which is connected to a Dell 2407FP LCD Monitor. Everything works fine except when he tries to use both the laptop display and the external monitor at the same time. When he opens the lid of his laptop, the text in any office documents (outlook new message, word docs, etc.) that is zooms to %500. For example if he has a message open and he selects that window the text automatically zooms to %500. If he selects another open message, the same happens. All other open documents or messages that are not selected remain ok unless they too are selected. Restarting and closing the lid fixes it. I have scoured the net looking for a fix, any help anyone can provide would be appreciated greatly! Thanks.
