The Best City for Network Admins???????

by buzz70_98 . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

I am from South Florida. I have a Civil Engineering degree. I made a switch to IT about 2 years ago. I got my A+ in one week, my MCSE in 8 weeks, worked for an internet company (and of course, I don’t have to tell you how that turned out; THEY WENT UNDER), worked for other companies, got my CCNA, have experience with routers, switches, SQL, and all your usual MS servers. However, right now, I am having a hard time getting a job. It seems that I have enough experience, certifications, and a degree for at least mid-level job, but I can’t even get into a help desk position. It seems to be a real shortage for Network Admin positions.

So, I am thinking of relocating. Does anybody have any suggestions on which city would I be able to find a job with my qualifications. Of course, if you know of anything in South Florida, I would greatly appreciate it if you would let me know.
