Novell thought that their deal with Microsoft would help them win market share, particularly from their arch rival Red Hat. It’s no surprise to me that the opposite has apparently occurred. I for one was seriosuly looking at Novell Suse before they made their deal with Microsoft. Now they are off the list BECAUSE of their deal. My purpose in moving to Linux was to [i]ESCAPE[/i] from the Evil Empire(tm). Any Linux that has been sucked into the Evil Empire(tm) is off the list.
