Hello,

the TCPIP nagle algorithm can slow down network. How to change it for Win 2000 service pack 4 with roll up 1?

Here are links,where its explained:

http://smallvoid.com/article/winnt-nagle-algorithm.html

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/Q321098

But i have Win 2000 professional (build on NT technology) service pack 4 with roll up 1.
So,i dont know how to change it properly.

I would like to change it,cos i heard its old fashioned stuff and its not suitable for broadband.I have now 2 mbit/128 kbit adsl connection. In cases of some events slow and retarded. Also its slow in case of some multimedia.
But,is it needed to change it,when next month i can have maybe 8 mbit/512 kbit adsl connection?

Can u help me?;-)

Have a nice days
