I started here over 2.5 year ago. I was hired as a Sr. Network support analyst, basically a Sr. Network Admin. There were 4 other seniors, some juniors and a few helpdesk people. Basically I was hired to backup our senior Novell guy, Citrix, firewalls, work on server projects, and offer support where needed. This is why I took the job, after doing user level support for the last 6 year, I was ready to upgrade my position level.
Then about 1.5 years ago we got a new CIO. His mandate is that everyone’s priority is to answer user calls. So basically I feel I?ve been demoted. I’ve been trying to just deal with it, but it is affecting my attitude.
I’ve tried looking for a new job, but there is nothing out there.
I don’t know what elseto do.
