Hi there,
after 15 years in the operational restaurant business, I am considering a change. Since I always enjoyed opening restaurants and setting up their systems and with my experience, I ultimately want to work for a POS company like Micros, Partech or NCR or work as a MIS manager for a restaurant company. Basically, I have two options right now, I could go back to school and get a BS in MIS/IT (two years) or I could take a MCSE certification class(six months).
I appreciate any input as far as which one of those paths would be better to get the ole’ foot into the door of IT.
