To Certify or Not to Cetify?

I am currently enrolled in College and have obtained my A+ Certification. The i-net+ and Network+ Certifications will be obtained next. I also have the opportunity to take the CIW Foundations test, but am uncertain whether the additional certification would be of any advantage. At present I am leaning toward furthering my education in the Networking option offered at the college. Would the additional certification be worth while or should I just skip it? I am on a very limited income, but I feel that taking the certification tests are an investment in my future. I just don’t want to pay for a test that won’t be of any help to me in the future if I don’t need to.
