To much waste of screen space

I like the pretty pictures but the pictures and the tool bars occupy so much of the desktop as to allow only a few ?libraries? to be shown at a time. Since the ?libraries? can still be listed in detail format, my main complaint is that the tool bars take up so much room. Add Adobe and IE7 to the Windows Explorer (or Documents Library) what you have is 2 to 3 inches of DEAD SPACE occupied by color on your screen. These should be adjustable in height and movable for people with 16X9 displays.
