To restore NT’s backup tape from W2K

My previous IT person use NT4′ default backup tools to make a couple of backup tapes. Now, I want to restore some of the data using W2K’s restore wizard.

I could see the content (titles) of the tape, but when I tried to restore them, the process seemed to take forever and nothing happened :
“Tape loading in process… Click Cancel to Stop.
Requested tape :
‘2310-2710’, media #1
Please check the Removable Storage Management MMC”

Wha’s wrong? I’ve run the catalog tools and the process was the same.
