Transferring files from one pc to another pc using command line

Anyone know of a command line for windows xp to transfer files from one pc to another pc.

The situation one be two pc’s connected to each other via crossover cable.A folder on one pc will be needed to be transferred to the other pc.The idea would be to create a batch file to run and transfer the folder and its contents to the 2nd pc. I know using a share would be the easy option but command line is what Im after.Any thoughts out there?
