trouble printing across wireless LAN

I have trouble making a HP printer work across a wirless LAN. First of all, I can’t multi-home the JetDirect on the printer. It’s now on 10.0.2.x subnet, so as the print server. When I try installing this printer on 10.0.1.x subnet, I can’t capture the MAC of JetDirect. So the printer has to be uninstalled, then I am able to install on 1.x subnet. After the install, I try a test print, it will show status not avaliable in the printer queue. And there is nothing coming out at all. Anyone out there can help please?
