I have a 3 domain structure all running Win 2000 Advanced server and I am unable to browse the parent domain through Network Neighborhood. I am able to see/browse the 2 child domains no problem. I get the error “No More Connections can be made to this remote computer….There are already as many connections…”. I am able to browse the domain if I do \\domain_controller in the address bar. I have checked the group policies and they look alright. DNS and Wins are fine and replicate well betweenthe domains. I have set autodisconnect to 1 min to see if that helps -no luck. AD seems to be operating just fine.
Note- All three of the Domains are on the same subnet.
I am able to browse the parent domain for a little while after the DC is rebooted, then returns to that error message.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
