Unable to create new backup folder on NAS box

I am having trouble with a Buffalo 1.5TB NAS.
I was backing up my SQL box with no trouble and now it has denied me access displaying the message ‘Unable to create new backup folder Access denied’. I am using Vertas Backup Exec 11d. Help anyone?
