Unable to Share Desktop with Netmeeting

We use Netmeeting to receive support from one of our software vendors. Our XP machines will make a connection but will not allow us to share the desktop. Because we do not have public IP address on our pc’s we initiate the connection from our end.
Does any one have any idea why we cannot share desktop on XP machines? Works OK on W2K machines.
