Unbinding Office 2000 Binders in Office 2007

I’ve seen other posts which discuss replacements to answer the multiple OLE objects in one container problem – my users have a different issue, they need to access documents which exist only inside Microsoft Office binders, and they only have access to Office 2007.

I’m open to almost anything, from VB code to standalone utility to undocumented feature, but the docs in question are of some importance. Suggestions most welcome, and thanks in advance!
