The Cmputer in our Accounting Office at the municipal hall of our town encountered BSOD error problem: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME with techinical information: ****STOP: 0x000000ED (0x812EC8ED, 0xC000009C, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
At first I thought the cause of this problem is the c.p.u. was not cleaned since the time of purchase because I didn’t know the BSOD error message because it automatically restart. After I cleaned the c.p.u.when I read and saw the BSOD error message. I tried to boot in safemode but still BSOD appears.
I want to reformat the harddrive but I’m afraid of lossing all of the important files which is use in the accounting office..
Can anybody help me regarding with this problem.
Is there Anything I can do to solve the problem without lossing any important files and without replacing the operating system… thank you…
win xp service pack3 the operating system of that p.c.
