Unsucessfull Windows Update

The message above appeared when i was updating a workstation ( WinXP Home Edition, 256MB, IE6.xx) HP PC.

I tried using symantec blaster remover but the program says that It did not find blaster programs.

For techies out there, Kindly advise me on this.
