Updateable CD bussines cards

I was reading about a company on internet that do updateable CD business cards.
Anyone know how does it work?, I mean, if the information of the Business card is on a CD how can it be updateable?, unless the information is not on a CD. Someone hastold me that what it does is, the CD have a link to a WEBSITE or portal that shows the actual business information. It’s that right?
