I have an Acer laptop that is less than 9 months old. I had it set to automatically get updates and install them on my system. So one day I get the message installing 3 of 3 updates, do not turn of your computer. Well it goes through this cycle, states it is going to restart, but keeps doing the same thing over and over. It is driving me up the wall. I have had to since by another PC, but still can not use my laptop. It is an Acer Aspire 5315 Series. It was running Windows Vista and I had installed the Windows Micro Soft Office Enterprise 2007 like 4 months prior to that. In one of my classes at the college, our professor told us to download one of those funny named programs similar to Windows, but was a different system, Unbanta or something like that. Anyway about on week after that is when it went on the blink. Can anyone out there give me any advice that does not cost a fortune. I was just medically retired from the U.S. Army in March of 2009 from Active duty for injuries I sustained in the Iraq War. I have had my income reduced to 60% of my base pay, which now leaves me with a income of 1672.00 monthly with a wife and 2 children still at home. So do you see why I need it to be cheap. Thank you very much, Samuel
