Upgrade

Hello wise ones! I have a question to pose for those NT/2000 LAN admins out there.
I am in the process of designing the upgrade scenario for our NT 4 domain to be upgraded to W2K AD. As you are all aware there are a number of scenarios in order to complete this upgrade.
As the current network hardware is in place, we will be doing an in-place upgrade.
Do any of you have any tried and tested methods you would recommend for the upgrade? I have a pretty good idea of the procedures and steps I wish to follow, but I do not know everything.
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated!
