Hi,
I have come in several occassions where when i install the USB network adapter cards into the computer whether into a win98 machine or 2000 or linux machine ,the machine freezes and i have to remove that and only it will reboot again .But i’m pretty sure that the card is working fine since it works fine with other computers .
I have installed the USB ports properly and the other USB devices work fine with the same computer.
I have seen these issues in many computers and in some cases it will say fatal error occured and will reboot itself saying that memory dump error has occured and it will say dumping memory like that
Even in Linux machine it seems to install properly but when we reboot it will not allow to reboot .This is not the case with a particualar product or a manufacturer but this occurs only with the USB network cards like USB ethernet adapters ,USB ADSL modems etc .
I know there is exactly some known issue over this ,but unable to get the info on this issue .
Iwant you to help me since my profession involves in installing these cards
Any help will be greatly appreciated
