Using PERT with Subprojects

I have created two sub-project files in MS Project 98, which I have linked into a master project file. I can see the sub-project details in the Gantt chart view, but when I switch to Pert chart view, I cannot see any of the detail tasks in the sub-projects. I assume this is a limitation of Project. Is there a work-around?
