v1.1.4322 update is stopping my laptop from going into standby

v1.1.4322 and standby

Please help!! Everytime i shut my notebook an error notice appears saying

‘Microsoft Net Framework v1.1.4322 update is preventing the machine from entering standby – try stopping this service and try again.’

Any advice – thanks.
