Vendor strategy

I was just promoted to manage a small/medium sized IT department (about 60 users). Right now we get our hardware from a bunch of different vendors. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to consolidate to one vendor or any tips that I need in doing so? I’m not sure where to start. Any suggestions on who is best?
