Virtual Employment

I have administrative responsibility in the health care industry where traditionally flexible employment options have been scarce for employees. Because of technology advances in the areas of communications, computing, bandwidth etc. the concept ofthe virtual office is emerging as a reality for non-clinical functions in the health care setting.

I am interested in experiences pertaining to policy, procedure and metrics relative to managing the employee in the virtual office. All feedbackis welcome.
