I need some tips on how to update/word my resume to reflect my new managerial responsibilities. For the past 5 years, I have been a team lead/supervisor for a Global Technology organization. This past winter the Firm restructured the IT organization and I was given the opportunity to manage a new team and report directly to the IT Director. I have been performing the same duties as the other IT managers since January, however due to recent events (DOJ indictment), the Firm might not be aroundfor my next review and I may not see my promotion to manager. In conclusion, I’ve been performing the duties of a manager without the official title. How can I word/phrase my current job on my resume to highlight my managerial skills for my next employer. I do not want to misrepresent myself but would really like to pursue my next job as an IT manager.
