Vista Home Premium

I got a laptop in, doesn’t get anywhere on boot, just freezes up. I do not have the Disc for this operating system.

Is there a place where I can download this .iso, or i do have xp installers, is the product key backwards compatable to use for XP.

I have loaded up the recovery console and tried to fix the boot process using bootrec tool, and ran a chkdsk /f which repaired files but to no avail.

I have looked for the vista home premium torrent but have not found anything that is working correctly. Help getting this disc would be appreciated.
