Vista To XP in HP laptops

I’m having a HP Laptop Pavilion Series 6000. and it’s windos Vista Base,I mean its recovery dvd is vista,and I’d like to change it to windows Xp, but unlikly when i put the Xp Cd in the driver ,it can not reconze the drivers and if i Put the same model recovery but for xp edition ,it tells me that the cd is not proper,so please advise me ,how to change my Windows Vista to Windows XP
