I am unable to integrate Visual Source Safe with Visual Interdev for an exising site. Following are the things I did to integrate the same.
a. Installed VSS 6.0 Server on the web server(IIS)
b. Created Group of users on web server.
c. Created users on VSS Admin. including, one for anonymous user.
d. Set appropriate permissions for the users.
On client side:
a. Created a Visual Interdev Project for an exisiting site.
b. Selected the concerned project from the Project Explorer and from the Project Menu, in the Source Control item selected Add to Source Control.
c. In the “Enable Source Control” dialog box, gave an appropriate Name “$/Myapplication_web”
After this is done Following error was displayed
“Cannot add source control to web application, web server does not have source control installed or the username does not exits”
Please advise as to how this error can be resolved
