Aloha! I am wondering if there are resources that would explain IN ENGLISH how we can attach our Linux workstations (RH-7.1) to our windows-based networks? We need to access both a stand alone workgroup made up of Win95B, W2K & NT4 systems and a Domain with similar machines. Don’t need to route, just need access the shared resources including drives and printers. Most info we are finding deal with windows systems attaching to a Linux box. Will we need to install Samba? Does Linux handle NetBEUI? Although we primarily use TCP, one of our Domain servers relies on NetBEUI. We are looking for Web (Internet) and Book resources…and we would appreciate some hints or tips. Meanwhile, we will be scouring this website for sources. Thank you very much for your help!
