We have a Checkpoint firewall v4.1 with the VPN module here at work connected to a T1. It works great from home while we are connected firectly to the cable/DSL modem. If we use a Cable Router/Firewall (such as from Linksys or NetGear), we can connect and be verified, but cannot access any of the resources of the network. If we immediately disconnect and reattach directly to the Cable/DSL modem, everything works fine. The Router/Firewalls have been upgraded in their firmware to their latest versions. Tried using the internal DMZ of the Router/Firewall, but that doesn’t work either. When we put a network sniffer on the Home network, it appears that the packets do not know where to go once they reach the router box. tried all the suggestions for routing the packets with no success… PLEASE HELP!
