VPN between 2 XP machines

Hi,
I need to set up a VPN between my home computer and my office computer. I am running XP Pro on both machines and have a cable connection to the internet. Do I need any special software or hardware? Can I just use the connection wizard to creat a VPN connection? Should I use Dyndns.org because the IP address changes?
