VPN Drops after 10-15 Minutes in Win XP

When I was using Windows 98, my VPN connection would stay as long as I wanted (beyond 12 hours). Now that I have Windows XP, the VPN connection automatically disconnects after 10 to 15 minutes regardless of usage.

Does anyone know to fix this? I would like to keep using Windows XP. Thanks.
