VSS troubleshooting

I have PIII system with Win 2k pro(fresh install). I have installed Visual Source safe and Visual Foxpro on the system. I have a Visual Source safe server on the network. I can opne and acess the VSS database using the VSS explorer but when I try toaccess the same database using Visual Foxpro, the system hangs.

Please help.
