W2K SP2

I’m trying to gather information of known issues after installing Service Pack 2 onto any flavor of W2K.

I’ve had 3 of my users come to me with bizzare issues after installing SP2, but they were all very different. So far I’ve had to rebuild 2 systems in which SP2 was installed due to major problems.

NOTE: if you install SP2, be certain to check the box during installation that saves the uninstall files. The only reason I had to rebuild the systems is there was no way for me to uninstall SP2 and reapply SP1. It’s a shame because without that capibility it’s impossible to prove that the issues on the system were indeed caused by SP2.
