I have recently move from the clerical world (exec assistant, project coordinator) into a research analyst (jr BA) position. I was able to get this job, because my past role gave me a unique knowledge in one of the largest transitions of a government run health services project between two private administrative vendors ever. No that I am in this new position. I am trying to put my new career on the fast track. As I am new in this role I am working extra hours and do not have time (or the money) for formal education, so I am looking to see wht tpye of self study processes I can follow to become a true business anallyst.
I am especially looing a ways to enhancle my abilities to create process flows, ask the right questions and learn how to fill in the gaps.
I would be grateful for any tips, suggested reading, one of classes, that anyone might suggest.
Also anyone that is looking for a protege to mentor, I am very interested.
Thanks!!!
