I’m looking at setting up a Firebox II and have the option to use either the Filtered-HTTP rule or the Proxied-HTTP rule.
Based on the documents I have, it looks like the rules are almost identical. All that ‘Proxied’ adds is one more rule that passes all outgoing HTTP packets, any port, through an extra set of proxying rules (or WebBlocker, which may be required).
Should I use Filtered-HTTP until I need to set up WebBlocker, or is Proxied-HTTP fast enough in low-to-medium load conditions that it can be used?
-TIA
