Web Analyst

Can some one tell me what kind of profile should one expect for a Web Analyst role.

In my opinion, it should be a person who discusses with the clients to understand their business, what they want to achieve with their web site and then proceeding to (with continual discussions with clients) design the possibile GUI, the web site architecture, the features that the web site should have.

I would appreciate if some one could comment on my understanding as well give their thoughts.
