I am one of the team built the company portal web-based application. We used Dell 4400 server as our web server. Sometimes when user try to access the our domain the browser prompts that the Page can be displayed: it is stange because our server is 7X24 machine, BUT if someone on our internal network tried to access it and successfully viewed the site. In few seconds the remote user (internationally or locally) will be starting to access the domain site.
What could be the contributing factor for this delay of service? is it the server, is it the configuration, or is it the cookie related?
As a test i placed another IIS (web server) to be available in the internet. I used its IP address to access it and it worked.
I am asking thy expertise to fix this problem.
