Hello all,
Our organization is getting ready to begin a web site project. This project will be led by myself on through completion. It has been decided that since we do not have adequate in-house knowledge of creating a quality web-site that we will seek outside vendor’s to help us with this project.
The problem is that I have never been apart of a project like this before. I am fairly knowledable when it comes to web sites however I have no idea how to approach vendor’s for different ideas ..etc
I have a good idea on what content / features we are looking for but when it comes to the bid process ..etc I could use some guidance.
I would like to know about any learned lessons that you all have had in a similar type of project. Project management is one of my weakest areas 😉
